Is life getting too busy? Don’t let your health slide to the back burner.
Try using these 5 tips to fit fitness into any part of your busy schedule.
1. Make a Plan
Put it in your calendar as a repeating notification. It’ll be harder to ignore and schedule over.
2. Find those Few Free Moments.
Start small, even if that means very small. Take a 5-minute walk to start and then increase it. You’ll be going on 30-minute walks in no time.
Don’t just aimlessly spend your time channel surfing or Facebook scrolling. Trade in those time fillers with an active work out. Mobility is the goal, sedentary browsing is not.
4. Watch and Crunch
New series on Netflix? Watch it while staying in motion. Find a workout plan that works for you. Jumping jacks every five minutes, crunches when a new episode starts, run in place when the main character appears. It’ll all add up and as a double bonus, you’ll get a great workout in while watching something new.
5. Make it a HIIT
Go for short high-intensity interval training. Fast, effective, and results in 20 minutes or less. Just remember to stay focused and maintain the high intensity required. Adopt a kettlebell into your routine and your all set.
Add fitness under your priorities. You won’t just be happy, healthier, and ready to take on any busy schedule thrown your way.
